PLAION’s Global Partner Publishing division is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Media team player with a professional can do attitude to drive and support our official PLAION Social channels and build strategies for selective partner products’. You will have a great understanding of how each platform works, relevant content formats and how to best work algorithms in our interest. Work closely day to day with our global and regional social media colleagues and cross-functional teams company-wide to ensure our channels and selective games have excellent social media & community support while achieve and manage KPIs throughout their lifecycle.

Your Tasks

I. Key Deliverables

Koch Media Social Channels
  • Strategy development & execution to unify & grow PLAION's social media presence
  • Create new workflows and processes to help effectively manage consistent content distribution across all local publishing offices and related social channels
  • Optimize content strategies to drive more genuine interaction with day-to-day content creation and management for all platforms
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to establish better CI presence on relevant channels
  • Implementation of monitoring findings, analysis and interpretation of key figures including recommendation to stakeholders for improvement where possible
  • Publication & coordination of content (texts, images, films, etc.) on global social platforms
  • Setup and manage account and right management for internal social channels
PLAION Global Partner Publishing
  • Work closely with the Global Partner Publishing Marketing & Communications team on selective product releases with Social Media & Community lens in mind
  • Create global social media strategies in line with the partners product strategy
  • Timely create & adapt social media materials with internal/external creative agencies and deliver those to our local publishing offices in a timely manner
  • Monitor local social media & community activation as globally designed
  • Prepare and present reports with action recommendations to drive core KPIs
  • Plan and support digital or live community events, fan gatherings/festivals and media events
  • Support national and international events and activities through social media coverage
  • Consult with teams from developers, creative services, media buying, marketing and PR in strategic planning and analysis, creative execution and media planning
II. Stakeholder Management

Functional report to: Senior Marketing Manager (Lead) - Global Partner Publishing

Key Stakeholders:
Work in a diverse group of cultures with both internal and external Social Media and Community stakeholders and make sure with regular check-ins on both sides, that local Social Media and Community plans are aligned and successfully executed as globally designed.
Western, Asian & European based Publishers, Global Partner Publishing Marketing & Communications, Global Media and Online Services, Creative Services, Regional Social Media and Community Managers, Regional Marketing & Communication teams

Your Profile

  • Social Media professional with a passion for video games & entertainment
  • BA in Communications, Media, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a social and/or community role ideally within games industry
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (such as Business Manager or others)
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as Social copy-writing according to set Tone of Voice
  • Ability to create simple polished assets tailored for Social
  • Ability to work in a timely manner on a global level with multiple countries & stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English is required (written and verbal)
  • Additional language(s)
  • Experience in international multi-territory company
  • Technical knowledge of console and PCs
