Koch Media’s central media team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced (Jr.) Online Campaign Manager to develop, plan, execute, optimize and report global Social Media PPC campaigns for our portfolio of selected own IPs and global partner products. The (Jr.) Online Campaign Manager will be an integral member of the international marketing team and take responsibility for global and/or local social media campaign execution. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams company-wide, our global publishing partners, vendors and local offices to generate and implement best practices to drive global Social PPC campaigns. Further, the scope of role will include local GSA online campaign service coordination & execution and linked reporting. The ideal candidate feels comfortable in an international fast-paced environment and has proven experience in planning and executing multiple global & local Social PPC campaigns on channels i.e. Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, Twitch & more. I) Central Social PPC Campaign Management
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the central marketing team to interpret given global marketing objective and to plan, develop & execute related international Social PPC campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally and cross territory with our central marketing, creative and local marketing teams to understand and support on local and global Social PPC campaign requirements including related approvals in line with global partners where necessary
  • Project managing local and global Social PPC campaign executions including regular analysis, optimization and report of performance to budget and goals in terms of agreed KPI’s
  • Monitor and manage Social PPC campaigns, use targeting & audience segmentation, run A/B testing, identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance according to the insights to improve campaigns within predetermined budget
  • Proactively communicate innovative channel recommendations to central marketing, based on regular campaign health reports and related best practices and insights
  • Post campaign reports & analysis for central marketing
  • Support on development and creation of product landing pages
  • Regular exchange on a global level with partners i.e. Google, Facebook, Snap and more
II) Germany, Swiss, Austria Online Campaign Management
  • Manage the execution process from asset coordination through to implementation & reporting
  • Asset adaption with the creative team where necessary
  • Oversee campaign activation ensuring on-time and accurate delivery on booked channels
  • Provide performance analyses & make recommendations on spend shift/optimization if needed
  • Post campaign reports & analysis for GSA marketing

Minimum requirements

  • A passion for the entertainment industry
  • Requires a BA in Business, Online Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ of experience in paid social media strategy, planning and execution
  • Experience in paid social media, display, SEO/SEM and programmatic environment
  • Knowledge and prior usage of tools like Google AdWords, YouTube, Facebook Business Manager, Twitch, Twitter, Snapchat and Google Analytics
  • Strong digital acumen with demonstrable drive and enthusiasm for the web and media landscape with an excellent eye for detail
  • A team-first player, who has a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as working independently
  • Ability to work within to tight deadlines and across multiple projects simultaneously including complex analysis to make recommendations and inform stakeholders
  • Expert user of business communication tools (e.g. MS Office), in particular PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent level of German and English is required (written and verbal)
Further qualifications would be a plus:
  • Hands-on experience in the games industry or an avid player with online marketing experience
  • Experience in international multi-territory campaign management
  • Knowledge of the GSA gaming media landscape
  • Third language a plus
