As a leading and independent producer and marketer of digital entertainment products in Europe and the USA, our business areas include the production of films and games, the purchase and sale of film license rights, the distribution of digital media products and games publishing under the Deep Silver label.

To strengthen the Development team of our Internal Software Development, we are looking for a JavaScript Developer in a permanent position. While we have full flexibility with regard to the technologies used, we constantly meet new requirements both in the backend and frontend area. In addition to new features, optimization and improvement tasks are among the regular duties.
The broad range of competencies in the company extends the software domains from game backends and developers’ requirements to business-driven web applications and intra-net extensions in an international environment.
Our agile structure allows the use of the latest technologies and patterns with plenty of scope to try out something new or to apply proven concepts.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and maintain web and software application according to requirements
  • Coordinate with backend developers to integrate existing APIs into web applications
  • Create client web applications
  • Concept and implement server-based web applications
  • Understand, create and debug database related queries
  • Test software and fix bugs
  • Monitor the performance of web applications and infrastructure

Your Profile

  • Basic design ability UI/UX design
  • Solid knowledge in front end languages such as HTML, CSS , ES6, Typescript.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React.js)
  • Familiarity with server-side JavaScript (Node.js)
  • Knowledge of MEAN/MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular/React, Nodejs) a plus
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture a plus
  • Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes a plus
  • Working knowledge of version control systems (Git) a plus
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for changing projects
  • Both independence and teamwork capabilities
