Koch Media’s central media team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced manager in global media campaign management to develop, plan, execute, optimize and report global and local (social) performance driven media PPC campaigns for selected own game IPs and games portfolio of our global publishing partners. As member of the central media team, you will work closely day-to-day with cross-functional teams company-wide including global and local marketing teams, our publishing partners and vendors to drive global and/or local (social) media PPC campaigns while generate and implement best practices. The ideal candidate is absolutely into gaming, feels comfortable in an international fast-paced environment, can handle multiple projects simultaneous and has proven experience in day-to-day development, planning and execution of performance driven (social) media PPC campaigns on channels i.e. Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Twitter, Twitch & more.

Your Tasks

  • Being part of a team of media campaign experts, you develop, plan and execute global and local performance driven (social) media PPC campaigns
  • Unleash the full power of channels i.e. Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Spotify, Amazon Marketing Services, Twitch & more according to the overall marketing campaign needs
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the global and local marketing teams to interpret given objectives and to plan, develop & execute related approaches for (social) media PPC campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally and cross territory with the global and local marketing teams and creative services to understand, support and brief each other’s requirements including related approvals in line with international partners where necessary
  • Project management of (social) media PPC campaigns including regular analysis, optimization and report of performance to budget and goals in terms of agreed KPI’s
  • Monitor and manage media campaign activation, use targeting & audience segmentation, run A/B testing, identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance according to the insights to improve campaigns within predetermined budget
  • Proactively communicate innovative channel recommendations to the marketing teams, based on regular campaign health reports and related best practices & insights
  • Develop, create and deliver post campaign reports & analysis
  • Give support on the development and creation of dedicated product landing pages
  • Regular exchange on a global level with partners i.e. Google, Facebook, Snap, Twitch and more
  • If needed, work closely with local marketing to support & manage the execution process from asset coordination through to implementation & reporting in relevant specialist media
  • Oversee campaign activation ensuring on-time and accurate delivery on booked channels
  • Provide performance analyses & make recommendations on spend shift/optimization

Your Profile

  • A passion for games and the entertainment industry is a must
  • Requires a BA in Business, Online Marketing or equivalent experience
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in international paid (social) media PPC strategy, planning, execution and multi-territory campaign management
  • Experience in paid (social) media, display, SEO/SEM and programmatic environment
  • Deep knowledge and prior usage of Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook Business Manager, Twitch, Twitter, Tik Tok, Snapchat etc.
  • Strong digital acumen with demonstrable drive and enthusiasm for the web and media landscape with an excellent eye for detail
  • Knowledge in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • A team-first player, who has a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as working independently
  • Ability to work within to tight deadlines and across multiple projects simultaneously including complex analysis to make recommendations and inform stakeholders
  • Expert user of business communication tools e.g. MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent level of German and English is required (written and verbal)
Further qualifications would be a plus:
  • Third (or more) language(s)
  • Hands-on experience in the games industry
  • Experience with CRM tools and Ad server technology
  • Knowledge of the German speaking gaming media landscape
